Bio

Pawel Jankiewicz is a Polish-born artist, writer, and researcher based in Berlin. His work operates at the intersection of para-curatorial practice, conceptual writing, and experimental ruinology. Holding a law degree (University of Łódź, thesis on art scandals and their normative entanglements), Jankiewicz brings juridical and philosophical sensitivity to artistic methods, often centring on poetic inscription, sonic atmospheres, and collaborative knowledge production.

His works include Theses on the Radiator, Radiating from the Image, Stratagem (OHM Libretto), The Dam of the Damned, and Nowa Ruina. Ongoing projects explore the emergence of the ruin subject — a figure formed in the aesthetic and existential conditions of urban ruination — through writing, exhibition-making, and live Ruin Subject Sessions.
