Pawel Jankiewicz is a Polish-born writer, curator, and researcher based in Berlin. He is the founder and director of Galerie Linger – Art, Books & Press, an independent gallery, bookshop, and discursive platform in Kreuzkölln. His work operates at the intersection of para-curatorial practice, conceptual writing, aesthetics, and experimental ruinology. Holding a law degree from the University of Łódź, he brings juridical and philosophical sensitivity to artistic methods, often centring on poetic inscription, sonic atmospheres, collaborative knowledge production, and the study of contemporary ruins.

His works include “Theses on the Radiator,” “Radiating from the Image,” “Stratagem (OHM Libretto),” “The Dam of the Damned,” and “Nowa Ruina.” Developed through collaborations with researchers, artists, and curators, including Pablo Arboleda, his current work explores the emergence of the ruined subject: a figure formed within the aesthetic and existential conditions of urban ruination. This inquiry informs his writing, exhibitions, reading groups, and the ongoing development of a doctoral project provisionally titled “Neukölln Syndrome: Aesthetic Ruination and the Birth of the Ruined Subject.”
